論「七色命苦至皆有漏故」，此明九根唯修所斷，不染污故不與見、修煩惱相應，及非第六意識所生故非見斷，皆有漏故是修所斷，不通非斷。

The commentary states: "The seven material ones, life, and suffering [...] because they are all defiled." This clarifies that nine faculties are abandoned only by meditation: because they are not defiled, they are not associated with the afflictions of seeing and meditation; and because they are not produced by the sixth mental consciousness, they are not abandoned by seeing; because they are all defiled, they are abandoned by meditation, not extending to being non-abandoned.
