論「如是三名因何而立」，自此已下釋三根名，先問、後答。問云：因何名未知當知根等。

Regarding the passage in the treatise, “Because of what are these three names established?”: From here on, the names of the three faculties are explained; first a question, then an answer. The question asks: “Because of what is it named the faculty of one who will come to know what is not yet known, and so forth?”
