論「若如是者至誰之異熟」，外難。難云：若定是異熟者，留多壽行。既由第四定等延此命根，即此命根是誰異熟？
On the Śāstra's statement: "If this is so […] of what is it the vipāka?": An external objection. The objection states: If it is definitely vipāka, when [an arhat] prolongs many life-formations—since this life faculty is extended by means of the fourth dhyāna and so forth—of what is this very life faculty the vipāka?
