論「即諸行聚至亦不離因」，論主為彼師釋牛主及牛皆無實也。俱是諸行一類相續，然能令彼於異方變異生因，名為牛主者，即是能驅役牛者。

On the Śāstra's: "The aggregation of conditioned forces ... does not depart from causes": The author of the Śāstra explains for that master that both the owner of the ox and the ox lack real substantiality. Both are a single type of continuum of conditioned forces. Yet the cause capable of making it undergo variation and arise in a different location is called the owner of the ox, which is the one capable of driving the ox.
