論「由此心有至最隨順故」，釋也。謂由住異相故，不恒生自果。此住異相，順生異心故。

On the Śāstra's statement: "Because this thought has [...] because it is most conducive": This is the explanation. It means that owing to the characteristic of abiding-decay (alteration), it does not perpetually produce its own effect, because this characteristic of abiding-decay conforms to producing a different thought.
