論「色差別因至可易了知」，舉易況難也。所緣色差別因，當唯佛知，況非色性。

On the Śāstra's statement: "The cause for the differentiation of form [...] could be easily cognised": This adduces the easy to illuminate the difficult. The cause for the differentiation of form as an objective support must be known only to the Buddha, how much more so that which is not of the nature of form.
