論「若離香等至地有香等」，外人難也。既言地有香等，明知能有異於所有，故知四外別有於地。

On the Śāstra's statement: "If apart from odor and so forth [...] the earth has odor and so forth": The opponent objects. Since one says "the earth has odor and so forth," it is clear that the possessor is different from what is possessed; hence we know that apart from the four there is a distinct earth.
