論「若謂於果至已遮遣故」，論主縱計，指前破也。我既於識心生既無功能，於受苦、樂亦無能也。

On the Śāstra's statement, "If one says that with regard to the fruit... has already been refuted": the author of the Śāstra concedes the postulate and refers to the previous refutation. Since the self has no efficacy in the arising of consciousness and mind, it also has no capability in experiencing pleasure and pain.
