論「若謂至此言無義」，論主牒計破也。若謂非我計我便起我愛，於我見我不起我愛，此言無義。
On the Śāstra's: "If it is said ... this statement is meaningless": The author of the Śāstra takes up the thesis to refute it. If it is said that imagining a self in what is not self gives rise to attachment to self, whereas seeing a self in what is a self does not give rise to attachment to self, this statement is meaningless.
