論「第二靜慮至如前具有」，此第三明二定已上。文中有二：一正釋、二引證。此文初也。二定已上如前所除，兼伺、諂、誑，自餘皆與中間定同。

The Śāstra says: "The second dhyāna […] fully present as before." This thirdly explains the second dhyāna and above. The text has two parts: first, the main explanation; second, citing proof. This text is the first. The second dhyāna and above, besides what was excluded before, additionally excludes vicāra, deceit (śāṭhya), and fraudulence (māyā); all the rest are identical to the intermediate dhyāna.
