論「有餘師說至差別之相」，自此已下敘異說也，如文可解。准上論文，慢謂方他、憍唯自傲，是謂慢、憍二相差別。

On the Śāstra's [words], "Other masters say […] the characteristic distinction": from here downward relates alternative explanations, which can be understood from the text. According to the text of the treatise above, conceit means comparing oneself to others, while arrogance is purely self-pride; such is the distinction between the two characteristics of conceit and arrogance.
