On the Śāstra's statement, "How is it known that there is visible matter in wind?": this is a question. If one says that external objects definitely consist of eight subtle atoms, as in the case of external wind free of dust, where shape matter such as long [and short] is universally agreed to be definitively absent, how is it known that there is visible matter in wind? If there is no visible matter, then there is only tangible matter; where would the eight subtle atoms be?
