論「此由所依至未斷義成」，此經部總釋也。所依謂身。所依身中種子斷、未斷別，分其凡、聖，不由其得。

[On the passage in] the treatise, from "This is because of the basis" to "the meaning of unsevered is established": Here the Sautrāntika explains generally. The "basis" refers to the physical continuum. The distinction of ordinary worldlings and noble ones is differentiated by whether the seeds in the underlying continuum are severed or unsevered, not by acquisition.
