「論曰至無智無顯」，此釋無明相也。《正理論》云「癡謂愚癡。於所知境，障如理解、無辨了相，即是無明。無智、無顯故說名愚。」

"The treatise says: ... without knowledge and without illumination." This explains the characteristics of ignorance. The Nyāyānusāra says: "Delusion refers to foolish delusion. In regard to the cognitive object, obstructing appropriate understanding and lacking discriminating comprehension—this is ignorance. Because it is without knowledge and without illumination, it is said to be delusion."
