4.96

論「誰惛沈行至不俱行故」，論主難《雜心》等釋。誰有惛沈而無掉舉？誰有掉舉而無惛沈？此二未嘗不俱行故，何得有惛沈行順等持也？

The treatise says: "Who is a practitioner of torpor... because they never fail to operate together." The author of the treatise challenges the explanation of the Miśrakābhidharmahṛdaya and so forth: Who has torpor without restlessness? Who has restlessness without torpor? Since these two never fail to operate together, how could there be a practitioner of torpor who accords with samādhi?
