論「此生等相」，已下半頌第二明隨相也。此四小相立名不同，或名隨相，隨本相故；或名小相，對大相故；或名生生，等生本生等故。

On the śāstra’s stating “These characteristics of arising and so forth”: The half-verse below is the second part, explaining the secondary characteristics (anulakṣaṇa). These four minor characteristics are established under different names: they are called secondary characteristics because they follow the primary characteristics; they are called minor characteristics in contrast to the major characteristics; or they are called ‘arising-of-arising’ and so forth, because they cause the arising of the primary arising and so on.
