論「謂愚夫類至之有為相」，自下經部釋也。於中有五：一明經說意、二明經不說剎那四相、三釋經重說有為相言、四敘經部所立、五引教證。此文初也。

On the passage in the śāstra from “It refers to foolish beings…” to “…characteristics of the conditioned”: Below, the Sautrāntikas explain. Therein are five points: first, clarifying the intent of the sūtra’s teaching; second, clarifying that the sūtra does not speak of the four characteristics of a moment; third, explaining the sūtra’s repeated phrasing ‘characteristics of the conditioned’; fourth, stating what the Sautrāntikas establish; fifth, citing scriptural testimony. This text is the first.
