論「又誰障住用至何不於先用」，又遮此住用暫有還無也。若異、滅為障，即力合強住，應先住用；若力弱住，故於後用，即不合能障於住也。

On the treatise passage: "Moreover, what obstructs the function of staying … why did they not function previously?": they further refute this temporary existence and subsequent disappearance of staying's function. If alteration and cessation are what obstruct it, their power should be stronger than staying, and they ought to have functioned before staying; if their power is weaker than staying so that they function afterwards, they should not be capable of obstructing staying.
