論「無六因故，無五果故」，答也。六因、五果外說證得因等，非無因也；有不取、與之果，非無果也。以無六因因，故言無因；以無五果果，故言無果。

On the Śāstra's: "Because there are not six causes, and because there are not five results": this is the answer. Outside the six causes and five results, when one speaks of causes of realization and so forth, it is not without cause; and where there is a result without grasping or giving, it is not without result. Because there is no cause among the six causes, it is said to have no cause; because there is no result among the five results, it is said to have no result.
