論「增上之果名增上果」，此釋名也。准下論文，增上之果名增上果，以論說因名增上故。

On the Śāstra's statement, "The fruit of the dominant is called the dominant result": This explains the name. Following the subsequent text of the treatise, the fruit of the dominant is called the dominant result because the treatise refers to the cause as dominant.
