「論曰至彼無用故」，明取果也。過去已取，未來無用，故唯現在能取果也。
"The Śāstra says: [...] because that is without function." This clarifies grasping the fruition (phalaparigraha). What is past has already grasped; the future has no function; therefore, only the present can grasp a fruition.
