7.118
論「威儀路等至亦緣於聲」，此明三心所緣境也。無記語亦是工巧心故，所以緣聲。
The Śāstra says, "The path of deportment, and so forth ... also takes sound as an object": this explains the cognitive objects of the three minds. Because unmanifested speech also belongs to the mind of craft, it therefore takes sound as its object.
