7.147

「論曰至今得成故」，明染心中得六心也。此言得者，謂先不成，今得成也，非謂先相續有。於三位辨得：一疑心續善；二從上界退下生位，即結生染；三起惑退。此三皆是染污心也。

"The treatise says: ... up to: acquired now due to realization." This explains that six minds are acquired in a defiled mind. The word "acquired" here means that it was not accomplished previously and is now accomplished; it does not mean that it previously existed in the continuum. Acquisition is distinguished in three situations: first, when reconnecting the roots of good through a mind of doubt; second, at the moment of falling from an upper realm to be born below, which is the defilement of entering rebirth; third, falling away through the arousal of afflictions. All three of these are defiled minds.
