論「為攝前義至非先不成故」，總前得心之義總有一頌。一由託生、二由入定、三由離染、四由退時、五由續善。「非先所成故」，總釋得義也。

The treatise says: "To summarize the preceding meaning... because they were not previously unaccomplished." There is one verse summarizing the preceding meaning of acquiring minds: first, by taking rebirth; second, by entering absorption; third, by detachment from defilements; fourth, at the time of falling away; fifth, by reconnecting the roots of good. "Because they were not previously unaccomplished" generally explains the meaning of acquisition.
