論「此有何因」，問也。此有何因知諸法從前諸因緣生，非自在等一因所起？下答有二因，知諸法非一因生等。
The treatise says: "By what reason is this [known]?" This is a question: By what reason is it known that all dharmas arise from the aforementioned causes and conditions, and are not generated by a single cause such as Īśvara? Below, the answer gives two reasons to know that dharmas are not generated from a single cause and so forth.
