論「能任持故至說為立因」，《正理論》云「言立因者，能任持故，如地持物。」

The treatise says: "Because it can sustain... is called the establishing cause." The Nyāyānusāra says: "As for the establishing cause: because it can sustain, just as the earth sustains objects."
