8.50

論「今此所言至皆不令解」，難也。前言：三界繫法云何？答云：於中隨增三界貪者。復問：何法名三界貪？答云：謂三界中各隨增者。於此二答皆不令解，由此說言同縛馬答。

On the Śāstra's statement: "Now what is said here ... neither brings understanding": this is an objection. Previously it was asked: "What are the phenomena bound to the three realms?" The answer was: "Those in which the greed of the three realms grows concurrently." Again it was asked: "What phenomena are called the greed of the three realms?" The answer was: "Those that grow concurrently in each of the three realms." Neither of these two answers brings understanding; therefore it is said to be like the reply about tying a horse.
