8.79

論「若爾無色至而受生故難也」，中有死處生，非所趣故不名趣。無色死處生，應非是趣。

On the Śāstra's question: "If so, the formless ... takes birth; this is an objection": intermediate existence takes birth right where one dies, and because it is not a destination (*gati*), it is not called a destiny. The formless takes birth right where one dies, so it should not be a destiny.
