「論曰至有十二支」，釋也。世尊唯說分位緣起。分位者，謂於此前後分位，即此無明等時五蘊總是無明等支。

"The Śāstra says: ... up to 'there are twelve factors'": this is the explanation. The World-Honoured One spoke solely of situational conditioned arising. 'Situational' means that in these prior and posterior states, the five skandhas at the time of ignorance and the rest are collectively the factors of ignorance and so forth.
