論。三是和合義至轉變成起。此釋起也。此是界一助二合界目起，即如此方木是其一由目助成相，以相助心以為想也。

The treatise says: "[Sam has the meaning of gathering together] to [transforms into samutpāda, 'origination']." This explains 'origination'. Here, one root with two auxiliaries combine to designate origination, just as in this land wood is one [component], which assisted by eye forms visual appearance [相], and visual appearance assisting mind forms thought [想].
