論「由引業力至名行緣識」，此釋行緣識也。經部同大乘，中有識支攝。

The treatise says: "Due to the power of projecting karma [consciousness enters the womb; this is called formations being the condition for consciousness]." This explains formations being the condition for consciousness. The Sautrāntika agrees with the Mahāyāna that the intermediate existence (antarābhava) is subsumed under the link of consciousness.
