[On] "The treatise says... it is named Heat", this explains the arising of Heat from the general characteristic. This arises from wisdom arisen from reflection or wisdom arisen from cultivation. Therefore the Nyāyānusāra says: "If there is one who has previously separated from the defilement of the desire realm, relying on wisdom arisen from cultivation subsumed under the form realm, feeling disgust toward the place of birth and delighting in nirvāṇa, sequentially through attention conjoined with predominantly weary practice, he can induce the arising of the distinct root of good of Heat. All those who have not previously separated from sensual defilement induce the arising of the root of good of Heat relying on wisdom arisen from reflection."
