The treatise says: "Because of expressions like 'bodily feeling', there is also no fault." This is the answer. Just as speaking of 'bodily feeling' does not mean it is the physical body itself, but rather a mental factor, speaking of 'bodily torpor' should be understood in the same way. The Nyāyānusāra says: "The heaviness of mind produced by drowsiness, discontent, and so forth is called torpor. Because of being veiled by this, the mind becomes murky and incompetent, due to its nature of confusion. Therefore, it is said to be counteracted by pliancy."
