On the Śāstra's statement: "Precisely through what was stated before, this is also uncontradicted": this is the Sarvāstivādin's reply. Precisely through what was stated before—that when one exists, all exist, and so forth—it does not merely prove simultaneous cause and effect, but also proves that mutual cause and effect exists.
