[On the text], "The commentary says... the shape of its future prime existence": this explains the first two lines, answering both questions together. Because karma is able to project the destiny to which one is to go, that same karma attracts the intermediate existence that is able to go. This clarifies that intermediate existence and existence at birth share the same karma. Because their karma is identical, the destiny to which one is to go is identical and the shape is identical.
