隨世想立名者，釋立假所由。謂諸世間相示地者，以顯形色，而相指示，佛隨世間想，立此假地名。

'Designated following worldly convention' explains the reason for establishing the nominal. That is, when people of the world point out earth to one another, they point it out by means of colour and shape form; the Buddha, following the notions of the world, established this nominal designation of earth.
