'Wind is both the realm and likewise' explains nominal wind. 'Wind is the realm': according to one master's explanation, there is no nominal wind; wind is simply the realm itself. 'Realm' means the essence; the essence is simply motion, because the world establishes the name 'wind' in reference to motion. Establishing motion as wind makes it precisely real wind; hence there is no nominal wind. Saying 'likewise': according to one master's explanation, nominal wind is accepted: just as the preceding nominal earth, water, and fire are established based on colour and shape form, wind is also like this, based on colour and shape form; hence it says 'likewise'. As when the world speaks of 'black wind' or 'whirlwind': black is precisely colour, and whirl is precisely shape; these use colour and shape to express wind.
