從此第五，明名廢立者。論云：「何緣十處皆色蘊攝？唯於一處立色處名？又十二處體皆是法，唯於一種立法處名。」頌曰：

The treatise states: 'For what reason are ten āyatanas all subsumed under the form skandha, yet the name "form āyatana" (rūpāyatana) is established for only one āyatana? Furthermore, the intrinsic nature of all twelve āyatanas is phenomena (dharma), yet the name "phenomena āyatana" (dharmāyatana) is established for only one kind?' The verse says:
