釋曰：初兩句標六法也，一斷善根、二續善根、三離染位、四退惑時、五死、六生。

The commentary says: The first two lines mark the six phenomena: first, severing the roots of good; second, reconnecting the roots of good; third, the state of detachment; fourth, the time of falling away from defilement; fifth, death; sixth, birth.
