釋曰：贍部洲人身多分長三肘半，於中少分有長四肘。東勝身洲人身長八肘，西牛貨洲人身長十六肘，北俱盧洲人身長三十二肘。
Explanation: The bodies of humans in Jambudvīpa are for the most part three and a half cubits in height, among whom a small portion are four cubits tall. Humans of Pūrvavideha are eight cubits tall; humans of Aparagodānīya are sixteen cubits tall; humans of Uttarakuru are thirty-two cubits tall.
