11.73

釋曰：北俱盧洲人定壽千歲，西牛貨洲人壽五百歲，東勝身洲人壽二百五十歲。南贍部洲人壽無定限，謂劫減位極壽十年，於劫初時人壽無量，百千等數不能計量。

The commentary says: The lifespan of people in Uttarakuru is fixed at a thousand years; the lifespan of people in Aparagodānīya is five hundred years; the lifespan of people in Pūrvavideha is two hundred and fifty years. The lifespan of people in southern Jambudvīpa has no fixed limit: at the nadir of the declining kalpa the extreme lifespan is ten years, while at the beginning of the kalpa human life is immeasurable, impossible to calculate by numbers such as hundreds of thousands.
