12.32

「劫初如色天，後漸增貪味，
由墮貯賊起，為防雇守田。」

"At the beginning of a kalpa, [beings were] like the gods of the form realm;
Later, craving for taste gradually increased.
Due to laziness, storage [began] and thieves arose;
To protect [the fields], one was hired to guard the fields."
