13.26

釋曰：此頌有八證：一說三色證、二說無漏色證、三說福增長證、四說非作成業證、五法處色證、六八道支證、七別解脫戒證、八戒為堤塘證。

Explanation: In this verse there are eight proofs: 1. the proof from the statement of three forms; 2. the proof from the statement of untainted (anāsrava) forms; 3. the proof from the statement of the increase of merit; 4. the proof from the statement of non-action constituting karma; 5. the proof from forms in the sphere of mental objects (dharmāyatana); 6. the proof from the eight factors of the path; 7. the proof from prātimokṣa morality; 8. the proof from morality acting as an embankment.
