15.40

「惡戒人除北，二黃門二形。
律儀亦在天，唯人具三種。
生欲天色界，有靜慮律儀。
無漏并無色，除中定無想。」

"Bad vows belong to humans, excluding the North,
The two eunuchs, and the two-sexed.
Vows also exist among the devas;
Humans alone possess all three kinds.
Born in the desire-heavens and the form realm,
One possesses dhyāna vows.
Untainted [vows exist there] as well as in the formless realm,
Excluding the intermediate dhyāna and the non-conceptual [heaven]."
