16.17

有說欲見滅，餘欲業黑俱者，有餘師說：欲見所斷業名黑黑，餘欲修所斷業名俱。俱者，黑白也。謂見所斷業無善雜故，名為黑黑。餘欲修所斷業有善不善，故名俱業。

[Regarding] 'some say that eliminated through seeing in desire, and other desire karma is black and both': other masters say that karma abandoned through seeing in the desire realm is called black-black, and the remaining karma abandoned through cultivation in the desire realm is called both. 'Both' means black and white. That is, because karma abandoned through seeing is not mixed with good, it is called black-black. The remaining karma abandoned through cultivation in the desire realm contains both wholesome and unwholesome, hence it is called 'both' karma.
