17.22

「不善地獄中，麁雜瞋通二，
貪邪見成就，北洲成後三，
雜語通現成，餘欲十通二。
善於一切處，後三通現成，
無色無想天，前七唯成就，
餘處通成現，除地獄北洲。」

"Unwholesome in the hells:
Harsh [speech], frivolous [talk], and hostility encompass both;
Greed and wrong view are [only] possessed;
In the Northern Continent the last three are possessed,
Frivolous talk encompasses both manifestation and possession;
In the rest of the desire [realm], ten encompass both.
Wholesome in all places:
The last three encompass both manifestation and possession;
In the formless and the heaven of non-conception,
The first seven are only possessed;
In other places they encompass both possession and manifestation,
Excepting the hells and the Northern Continent."
