17.30

餘處通成現，除地獄北洲者，餘欲、色界人天四趣，除地獄、北洲名為餘處，身語七支各皆通現行及成就也。然有差別：謂鬼、傍生有處中善。若於色界，唯有律儀。三洲、欲天皆具處中、律儀二種。

Regarding "In other places both are open to possession and manifest activity, except in hell and the Northern Continent": the remaining four destinies of humans and devas of the desire and form realms, excluding hell and the Northern Continent, are called "other places"; the seven bodily and vocal factors are each open to both manifest activity and possession. However, there are distinctions: pretas and animals have intermediate good. In the form realm, there is only discipline. The three continents and the desire-realm devas possess both intermediate [good] and discipline.
