"Many karmas are able to fulfill [it]" explains fulfilling karma, formerly called 'particular-retribution karma'. That is, the complete ornament of a single lifetime is accepted to be caused by many karmas. For example, a painter first outlines the shape with a single colour, and later fills in the various pigments. Outlining the shape with one colour is an analogy for the single projectile karma; filling in the various pigments later is an analogy for the many defiled karmas. For this reason, although people equally receive a human body, within that there are those complete with physical limbs, complexion, strength, and ornamentation, and those with defects.
