從此第七，明造作增長，論云：「如契經說有二種業：一造作業、二增長業。何因說業名增長耶（問也）？由五種因（答也）。何等為五（問也）？」頌曰：

From here [in the] seventh [section], [the text] explains performance and accumulation. The śāstra says: "As the sūtra states, there are two kinds of karma: first, performed karma; second, accumulated karma. Due to what cause is karma called 'accumulated'? (a question). Due to five kinds of causes (an answer). What are the five? (a question)." The verse says:
