19.25

餘通見修斷者，餘八地中忍所害隨眠通見、修斷，謂聖者斷唯見非修，法類智忍如應斷故（上七地類忍斷，欲界一地法忍斷也）。若異生斷，唯修非見，數習世俗智所斷故。

"The rest are abandoned both by vision and cultivation" means that in the remaining eight stages, the anusayas destroyed by patient acceptance are abandoned both by vision and cultivation: if abandoned by a noble one, they are abandoned only by vision and not cultivation, because the patient acceptances of dharma knowledge and subsequent knowledge abandon them as appropriate (the subsequent acceptances abandon those in the upper seven stages, and the dharma acceptances abandon those in the one stage of the desire realm). If abandoned by an ordinary being, they are abandoned only by cultivation and not vision, because they are abandoned by repeatedly cultivating conventional knowledge.
